Vietnamese Martyrs:
Known as Holy Vietnamese Martyrs to Vietnamese Catholics, this is a representative group of 117 men and women who gave their lives to profess their faith. Consisted of French and Portuguese missionaries and Vietnamese clergies and parishioners, they were cannonized in 1987 by Pope John Paul II at St. Peter's Square, witnessed by relatives from all over the world.
